Julie L. Matucheski is an Associate Attorney with Gregerson, Rosow, Johnson, & Nilan, Ltd., practicing in the areas of civil litigation, fidelity and surety law, business law, and municipal law.
Ms. Matucheski graduated with highest honors from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. After spending a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA for a philanthropic organization in Northfield, Minnesota she then attended the University of Minnesota Law School. While in law school Ms. Matucheski frequently appeared in court as a student attorney for the Washington County Public Defender’s Office, was a clinic director at the criminal law clinic, and was a research assistant for the Robina Institute of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice.
Prior to joining Gregerson, Rosow, Johnson, & Nilan, Ms. Matucheski served as a judicial law clerk for Superior Court Judge Jane F. Kauvar in Fairbanks, Alaska and for Alaska Supreme Court Justice Susan M. Carney. Ms. Matucheski also practiced for a year at an insurance defense firm in Green Bay, Wisconsin where she gained experience in all facets of civil litigation, including depositions, mediations, and dispositive motion practice.
